Job Description:

Our client is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Modern Trade and Institutional Sales Representative to drive sales growth in the modern trade and institutional segments. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the mattresses, furniture, office equipment, consumer electronics, or hotel supplies industries. Candidates should possess a degree in sales and marketing from a reputed institute.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the modern trade and institutional channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, and institutional buyers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share and reach sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives to increase brand visibility and drive sales.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to management, including sales forecasts, market insights, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor and manage sales budgets, expenses, and profitability targets for the modern trade and institutional segments.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, including production, logistics, and customer service, to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of orders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, market trends, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making and product development efforts.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings to promote products and build brand awareness.

Qualifications: 

Minimum 5 years of experience in modern trade and institutional sales.

Bachelor's degree in sales and marketing or related field from a reputed institute.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the mattresses, furniture, office equipment, or hotel supplies industry.

Knowledge of modern trade and institutional sales channels and best practices.

Familiarity with market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences in the sleep solutions industry.
