Our client an SME company in Ethiopia is seeking  highly skilled and experienced Kenyan professional Network Engineer with CCIE certification for the above role.

The sucessful candidate will ne tasked with a core responsibility of planning, designing, implementing, and managing complex and software defined network and data center solution to meet business requirements.

Roles and Reponsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain network and cybersecurity measures to safeguard organizational assets from cyberattacks.
• Configure and maintain layer 2 and layer 3 network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Planning, designing and implementing network security solutions that protect the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information.
• Deploy, operating and optimize complex network
  infrastructure for better performance and security ions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that align with the required business goals.
• Plan, design and implement secure and scalable network architecture solutionsre.
• Conduct regular security assessments and recommend enhancement options
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve network infrastructure.
• Review and approve Low Level and High-Level design of Campus/WAN networks utilizing industry best practices.
• Provide technical expertise in the design, implementation, and support of network infrastructure

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant bachelor's degree/ diploma 
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE certification)
• 5+ years of experience in Network or Network
  security engineering and design roles.
• Strong knowledge of network routing protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS,BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SDN, DHCP, and VLANs/VXLANS.
• Hands-on experience with network hardware and software, including Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
• Willingness to work and live in Ethiopia.
