Regional Head of Business Enablement
Reporting To: Chief Business Enablement Officer - Africa
Department: Group Processing
Job Purpose
This role is focused on supporting the commercial team with propositions, tool kit, presenting to client’s high-level technical capabilities of products / solutions. The role is critical to build bridges between external stakeholders (clients / prospects) and internal stakeholders (business / delivery…etc).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and provide technical assistance and guidance during the pre-sales process
- Pre-sales activities including customer presentations, Bids, RFP/RFI responses, pricing, and commercialization of products / solutions.
- Supporting business sales teams, account managers and partners on proposal activities including driving customer pitches
- Attend meetings with potential clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution
- Deliver training and demo’s on solutions to partners and internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare technical write-up, technical proposals, presentations and white papers required in the pre-sales process.
- Manage the commercialization, sales enablement
- Support Sales teams with technical expertise pre and post sales activities
- Be the customers enablement champion within the processing organization, making sure projects are delivered on time
- Provide strategic advice to customers and Product teams regarding design, capabilities, and implementation of cardholder benefits
Experience/ Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or an MBA (preferred)
- 10+ years of progressively pre-sales / technology experience in Financial Services
- Ability to thrive and build robust pipeline with limited lead generation support
- Strong networker across relevant stakeholder base with the ability to listen, build common ground and influence in order to effectively advance business opportunities and generate revenues
- Revenue management and P&L experience
- Revenue goal-setting abilities
- Top-level sales skills (internally and externally) combined with strong negotiation capabilities required for large deals
- Proven ability to influence and motivate others to achieve objectives
- High energy, strong people leadership, experience in leading diverse and cross functional teams
- Strong interpersonal skills - the ability to build rapport and credibility quickly across functions
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record in delivering commercial performance
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
