Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and contact potential customers in modern trade and general trade
  • Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of our products to customers and persuade them to buy.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and potential clients to generate new business.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with customers and close sales deals.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Coordinate with other sales team members, marketing staff, and logistics personnel to ensure smooth delivery and distribution of products.
  • Attend sales meetings, training sessions, trade shows, and other events as required.
  • Ensure collection of payments is done on time and within terms as well as ensuring the customers' accounts are clean at all times
  • Implement on-shelf availability and  as required in Modern Trade
  • Actively list and monitor the movement of new products
  • Increase market share and sales of products
  • Meet sales targets constantly
  • Compiling individual sales reports as per the company requirements.
  • Ensuring In-depth product knowledge and current

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • 3+ years of Proven experience as a field sales experience in the FMCG industry in the Western/Nyanza Regions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Sales Force Automation
  • Valid & active driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
