Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify and contact potential customers in modern trade and general trade
- Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of our products to customers and persuade them to buy.
- Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and potential clients to generate new business.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with customers and close sales deals.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Coordinate with other sales team members, marketing staff, and logistics personnel to ensure smooth delivery and distribution of products.
- Attend sales meetings, training sessions, trade shows, and other events as required.
- Ensure collection of payments is done on time and within terms as well as ensuring the customers' accounts are clean at all times
- Implement on-shelf availability and as required in Modern Trade
- Actively list and monitor the movement of new products
- Increase market share and sales of products
- Meet sales targets constantly
- Compiling individual sales reports as per the company requirements.
- Ensuring In-depth product knowledge and current
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
- 3+ years of Proven experience as a field sales experience in the FMCG industry in the Western/Nyanza Regions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Sales Force Automation
- Valid & active driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
