Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analyzing purchase requisitions and stock levels considering stock in transit, consumption patterns, and Import/Domestic pricing analysis, liaising with Heads of Departments.
• Coordinating with the Stores management for Stock levels monitoring.
• Coordinating with Central Purchase Department for feedback regarding Open Purchase Orders and Open Purchase Requisitions.
• Preparing the Summary of the Analysis for the discussions and decision-making.
• Timely Communicating to Indenting stakeholders and Head of the Departments regarding anomalies in purchase requisitions.
• Pursuing Indenters to opt for Import Route through proper planning, wherever options are available.
• Regular status updating and preparing and submitting various Management Reports to the Head of the Department from time to time.
• Encourage overall competitiveness in Supply Chain Management functions and maintain zero tolerance for corrupt practices.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.Tech-Mech., MBA in Materials Management function.
• 10+ years in Materials Management Function in  the FMCG Industry
• High analytical ability to understand the requirement of materials for the Factory/Process Industry.
• Hands-on experience of SAP Material Management (MM) and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is a must. The department runs fully on SAP and the entire function is managed/ monitored through SAP.
• Good communication and Good interpersonal skills.
