SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER –FMCG
Our client, a well-established FMCG in Nairobi is seeking to hire an account manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve set targets for wholesalers and supermarkets.
- Submit timely reports and feedback on market trends, such as competitors’ pricing and activities.
- Manage and advise each customer and have their order requirement met.
- Avoid stockout and dumping of stocks.
- Have a work plan in place for client database growth.
- In charge of all regional customer bases.
- Look for ways to grow business in the region.
- Achieve the customer database set target.
- Create awareness of the availability and visibility of products in the market.
- Constantly communicate with the Regional Manager and National Sales Manager on work plans and processes.
- Achieve Monthly and Annual set targets by the Line Manager.
- Ensure collection of payments, and credit notes and handle customer accounts.
- Plan and negotiate activity within the account(s) including promotions marketing activities and trade marketing.
- Carry any other duties as may be assigned by the Line Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Degree /Diploma in a business-related field, Sales & Marketing highly preferred.
Minimum 4 years sales experience in an FMCG, 2 of which as an account manager
