Roles & Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses, resolving discrepancies as needed.

Maintain compliance with statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements, ensuring timely remittance of payments.

Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, payment allocation, reconciliations, and reporting.

Maintain and update the Fixed Assets register.

Assist in preparing financial statements and support monthly and year-end closings.

Ensure timely and accurate updating of financial data in accounting systems.

Control and reconcile petty cash, monitor budgets, expenses, and payroll records.

Conduct monthly stock takes, reconcile variances, and perform bank and till reconciliations.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, with professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or CIMA).

Minimum of 5 years’ accounting experience, including at least 2 years in financial accounting and reporting.

Strong knowledge of IFRS, with practical experience in IFRS 16 considered an advantage.

Hands-on experience in tax compliance and statutory filings, including VAT, PAYE, WHT, WVAT, and related levies.

Practical experience in managing debtors, payables, inventory, and fixed assets.
