Job Description

Our client a leading FMCG company in various Hygiene, homecare, hair care and body care product isseeking to to hire Area Sales Manager.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Regularly review sales data and create reports for management for primary and secondary sales.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools to provide sales insights to marketing and sales staff
  • Travel to organization locations within a given area to meet with and manage sales staff/distributor
  • Managing merchandizers, Van sales reps and Distributors
  • Identify both struggling and successful sales initiatives and explore ways to improve on sales metrics
  • Communicate actively with sales teams in a given area to help foster a team environment
  • Plan and execute sales meetings to help provide feedback and sales insights
  • Interview and train new sales employees, and overseeing other onboarding tasks as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in business related studies
  • 7+ years of FMCG sales experience in Nyanza/Lake Region with at least 3+ years of experience as in a similar role

    Experience in sales of personal care products/ beauty or and cosmetics highly preferred.

  • Proven sales experience and knowledge, including familiarity with current trends in sales methods
  • Ability to Manage distributors.
