Technical Sales Engineer

Job brief

The technical support engineer will provide site-specific or customer-specific designs and validate design requirements to suit the client. provided much-needed skills in resolving technical issues concerning customer installations and support Operations and Maintenance

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify, pre-qualify, and acquire prospects for the sales of large commercial Solar PV Grid -Tie projects and perform technical due diligence.
  • Negotiate and structure Solar PV and Solar Integrated contract deals.
  • Manage the sales request process for all project types and work within guidelines and set triggers to efficiently manage priorities.
  • Performs site diligence, provide site specific or customer specific design and validate design requirements to suit the client.
  • Support projects estimating and scheduling tasks as required.
  • Act as key point of contact between client and the company in project implementation.
  • Target and contact key decision makers in large commercial enterprises, hotels/resorts etc to create a need and present new projects opportunities, propose specific sales contracts, obtain fully executed contracts for new projects, and achieve business development goals.

 

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3- Years’ experience in system design and Project Management.
  • T3 Licensed
  • Electrical Engineering / Energy Engineering
  • Technical PV solutions support experience
  • Knowledge of Project Management will be an added advantage
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent client-facing skills.
