Key Responsibilities:

• Lead in Research &Learning
• Production standardization.
• Modification of existing formulation.
• Finding out new raw materials (New vendor development).
• Support to Quality Control.
• Review Comparative study of competitors’ products.
• Supporting technical support department technically.
•  Run an efficient and effective Technical Support Service for the business.
• Lead the company in innovation and development through a competent R&D function.
• Ensure knowledge creation and capturing by executing correct procedures, policies, and documentation requirements across projects.
• Guide the team through the development, testing, and implementation stages and review the completed work effectively
• Solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment for target completion.
• External face of the Organization in liaison with the Bureau of Standards, ISO certifications,  Audits

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering/Paints Technology.Master’s Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering added advantage
• 15+ years’ experience in R&D lead function in the Paints & Coating industry.
• Strong technical writing skills (procedures, protocols, and reports).
• Proven ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders and strong management and negotiation skills.
• Excellent ability to use initiative, prioritize, multi-task, and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
