The Role:

• Responsible for delivering customer and legal compliance and requirements related to Packhouse and Farm Operations.
• To ensure compliance for both Government and Market standards so that client can maintain its leading position in the Fresh Fruit and Fresh Vegetables Export market

Roles & Responsible:

• To always ensure the highest conformance, with all Legal, Customer manufacturing and grower audit requirements associated with pack house, field / farm operations and workers
• Ensure compliance with applicable Government Licences and Regulations
• Ensure compliance regulation for export compliance
• Ensure that Products for export meet the required legal and ethical standards
• Ensure that market standards; both voluntary and involuntary and regulations are complied with
• To be a role model of best practice and performance for the rest of the Technical department and a key support figure for the business
• To design, communicate and implement technical policies and procedures where necessary to assist other teams in achieving due diligence compliance
• Work closely with all departments and all parts of our supply chain, including suppliers and growers to support and deliver Better, Simpler, Cheap (BSC) outcomes that benefit our global business and all our customers

The Candidate:

• Masters and/or bachelor’s degree with a preference in Agriculture or equivalent
• Min of 5 years of experience in Agri business and Fresh Fruit / Fresh Vegetable export business
• In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, certifications, and audit requirements
• Supervisory experience

• Accurate KPI documentation is produced in full and to deadlines

• Maintain effective working relationships with regulatory authorities, industry trade groups, supplier, owned companies, internal stakeholders, and customers
