Job Description
Role Purpose:
To lead and oversee end-to-end Packtech (packing, documentation, and export logistics) operations, ensuring seamless shipment execution, compliance with global standards, cost optimization, and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. International Business Development
β Identify and develop new export markets across regions (Middle East, Europe, Africa, US, etc.)
β Appoint and manage distributors, agents, and channel partners.
β Generate leads and convert them into long-term customers.
β Participate in international trade fairs and exhibitions
2. Key Account Management
β Manage relationships with existing global customers.
β Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply terms.
β Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
β Handle escalations and commercial discussions
3. Pricing & Commercial Strategy
β Develop export pricing considering.
β Raw material fluctuations.
β Freight & logistics costs.
β Market competitions.
β Maintain target margins (CM1/CM2).
β Work closely with internal teams during volatile market conditions
4. Export & Import Operations & Documentation
β Oversee complete export process:
β Proforma Invoice, Commercial Invoice, Packing List
β LC documentation, BL, Certificate of Origin, etc.
β Ensure compliance with international trade regulations
β Coordinate with logistics, CHA, and freight forwarders
5. Supply Chain Coordination
β Align with production and planning teams for order execution
β Monitor dispatch timelines and ensure on-time delivery
β Handle challenges like RM shortages and price volatility
6. Market Intelligence
β Track global trends in packaging (nets, films, woven products, etc.)
β Monitor competitor pricing and positioning
β Provide inputs for new product development
7. Internal Collaboration
β Work closely with:
β Procurement (RM sourcing challenges)
β Finance (payments, LC, forex)
β Quality (product specs & certifications)
Key Skills & Competencies
β Strong understanding of export procedures & documentation
β Experience in international sales negotiation
β Knowledge of Incoterms, LC terms, forex
β Ability to handle price volatility & supply challenges
β Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
β Strategic thinking with execution focus
Qualifications
β Bachelorβs degree (MBA in International Business preferred)
β 12+ years of experience in exports (Packaging / Plastics / FMCG / Industrial products)
β Experience in handling export & import
