Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting & Audit

This role manages month-end close, prepares management account journals, oversees VAT filings, and ensures the integrity of the general ledger. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and able to guide a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of monthly/annual financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee internal and external audit processes and ensure compliance.
• Prepare and file accurate VAT returns and maintain statutory compliance.
• Manage month-end close activities, journals, reconciliations, and GL reviews.
• Monitor and maintain accuracy of general ledger accounts.
• Overlook & Support AR & AP Functions
• Oversee Overall Company Audit & Compliance Requirements
• Oversee Insurance Claims tracking
• Oversee & Monitor Legal compliance (Licenses & Permits), Company Legal cases & Legal documentations
• Supervise and develop the financial reporting & audit team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, orFinance, 
• CPA K
• 4-7 years accounting experience, including supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, audits, VAT, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
