ORACLE APPLICATION ANALYST

Our client, a company in the FMCG sector, is looking to recruit an Oracle Application Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting business applications through activities such as incident management, change management, deployment processes, end-user support, month-end system support, GCC management, and the management of applications and databases.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Improve and expand the functionality of existing applications, including the ERP system, to meet evolving business requirements by developing and implementing new solutions.
• Ensure that users of the Oracle ERP system are able to effectively achieve their business objectives.
• Provide support to users of Windows-based applications to enable efficient completion of their tasks.
• Oversee the planning, development, installation, testing, modification, and evaluation of databases, along with related client services and reporting tools.
• Ensure that applications running on the databases function properly while maintaining database integrity.
• Manage IT services associated with database operations, system performance, availability, and IT service change management.
• Ensure adherence to the organization’s Corporate IT policies.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
• At least five years of hands-on experience working with ERP systems, preferably managing Financial and Supply Chain modules, including their setup and customization.
• Experience in writing SQL queries and developing and deploying reports within an ERP environment.
• Strong knowledge of data processing systems, networking, and systems development.
• Additional advantage: extensive knowledge of Oracle EBS R12.
