Job Description

Our client, a well-established large manufacturing company, is seeking to hire a strategic & results-driven manager to lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of talent management, performance, learning, and leadership development programs that build individual and organizational effectiveness aligned with the company’s strategic direction. The role ensures cost-effective strategies to strengthen our people capabilities and ensure we have the right talent, systems, and structures to support growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement talent management and learning strategies aligned with business goals
  • Identify skills gaps and deliver targeted training and development programs
  • Lead leadership development, succession planning, onboarding, and continuous learning initiatives
  • Manage performance management systems, including appraisals, reviews, and alignment with rewards and promotions
  • Partner with departments to assess training needs and improve performance outcomes
  • Manage L&D budgets, vendors, and resources while ensuring cost-effective training delivery
  • Promote a continuous learning culture and optimize the use of internal expertise and technology
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory training and regulatory requirements (e.g., EHS, ISO, NITA)
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure audit readiness
  • Support organizational design, restructuring, and change management initiatives
  • Drive standardization, efficiency, and continuous improvement of learning and development processes

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, or a related field 
  • Postgraduate Diploma in HR or CHRP certification is an added advantage
  • IHRM membership with a valid HR Practicing Certificate
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years leading Talent & Training Management initiatives
  • Experience managing learning programs across multiple departments or subsidiaries 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HRIS, and e-learning platforms
