Job Description
Our client, a leading FMCG company, is looking to recruit a General Trade Representative Team Leader to support its sales and distribution objectives. The role will primarily focus on servicing small retail channels, including kiosks, small shops, mini-markets, distributors, and wholesalers.
Key Roles and Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a sales team to drive revenue growth, product distribution, and customer engagement within the FMCG sector.

Implement trade strategies, promotional campaigns, and market activations.

Monitor sales forecasts and evaluate trade performance.

Work closely with the sales and supply chain teams to ensure efficient product availability and distribution.

Maintain strong in-store product visibility through effective merchandising and point-of-sale (POS) execution.

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to inform sales strategies.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships while negotiating favorable trade agreements.
Minimum Requirements
-
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

At least 4 years of experience in FMCG General Trade (GT) sales, including a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role.

Results-driven with a strong ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a sales team.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and customer data.

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
