Roles & Responsibilities:

Ensure invoices are generated and sent to customers promptly.

Follow up on outstanding debts to secure timely payments from all credit clients.

Maintain up-to-date and reconciled debtor accounts that accurately reflect current balances.

Support accurate posting of financial transactions in accounting software to facilitate final report generation.

Assist with managing accounts payable and performing necessary reconciliations.
-
Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Provide support in compiling documentation required for financial audits.
-
Help ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate with relevant stakeholders as needed.

Assist in banking operations, including bank reconciliations.
-
Process payments to suppliers and customers, and address any accounting-related inquiries.

Support the preparation and timely submission of statutory deductions and returns before due dates.

Review cash requests and petty cash statements to ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation (petty cash management).

Assist in preparing departmental financial reports as required.

Organize and maintain financial records and documents for efficient filing and retrieval.
-
Prepare daily banking reports from key sales and cash collection centers as required.
-
Reconcile designated M-Pesa till accounts with corresponding bank statements.

Ensure accurate maintenance of receivable cashbooks and reconciliation with the general ledger.

Overseeing and participating in the month-end procedures concerning stock take.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.

ACCA/CPA Part II qualification or an equivalent certification is required.
-
Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software.
-
1–2 years of experience in the automotive industry will be an added advantage
