The position is responsible for maintaining commercial relationship between the company, its clients and suppliers. This position is responsible for revenue generation through quality customer service which meets customer needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation

• Contact new/prospective clients
• Respond to customer queries on time
• Target, develop and grow a group of set accounts
• Regularly achieve individual revenue and margin targets
• Understand the account base and demonstrate accurate account mapping / forecasting within all accounts

2. Account Management:

• Work on clients’ issues to ensure a smooth flow of events to satisfy the client
• Introduce new products to clients to make them aware of the services offered
• Ensure timely delivery of items and services
• Demonstrate significant growth across all accounts
• General administration relating to the sales process
• Ensure that all products displayed have correct price tags
• Ensure that all products displayed are clean and neat
• Handles warranty issues promptly
• Handle customer complaints and deal with customer returns on time
• Ensure that orders are met on time.
• Ensure that products are well stocked at the branch
• Liase with suppliers for availability of stocks and reseller discounts.

3. Debt collection:

• Liaise with accounts team to send SOA to clients before they fall due
• Collect the payments when need be from the clients

4. Pipeline management

• Follow up on sales quotes
• Add new quotes to the pipeline
• Ensure constant growth and conversion

5. Reporting:

• Pipeline and Debtors list - to show booked sales and projected sale for the month
• Enquire for sales reports on mid-month and/or monthly basis from resellers.
• Warranty reports

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in IT, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of work experience in any of these fields: ICT & Energy Retail business
