Duties & Responsibilities:
- Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT
- Help Desk Technician or similar role
- Keep up to date with knowledge and trends on IT Security and Administration
- Manage Windows and Linux Servers. Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus
- Advanced level troubleshooting of Ameyo application and voice technology (ISDN/VOIP/PRI)
- Manage and troubleshoot Asterisk based PBX systems
- Write new programs/scripts and modify databases to suit internal and client requirements
- Monitoring of system logs, OS logs, database logs, trace files, database alert files to detect and troubleshoot runtime problems.
- Perform backups and data transfer activities
- Document and manage all IT inventory
- Manage external vendors and suppliers for all IT related services
Desired skills & Competencies:
- Degree/ Diploma in Computer Science or related field
- Advanced sklls in Ameyo application and voice technology
- Experience in technical support and troubleshooting of windows devices required
- Basic knowledge in IP telephony will be an added advantage
- Certification in ITIL / MCSA / LPIC / CCNA or other industry standard certifications will be an added advantage
